Xertex Y2K Statement

Xertex Technologies, Inc. has implemented a company-wide plan to address Y2K issues in our products and business. Xertex Products are Y2K compliant as they contain no active components which can be affected by the date or time in any fashion. Xertex systems and business processes are Y2K compliant as of 10/99, per our original plan. According to the Xertex Y2K Mitigation Plan rev. A 10/28/98, Xertex is currently in the implementation/verification phase.

Xertex Y2K Status

All critical computer hardware and software has been verified as compliant. Communication systems have been upgraded to compliance. Supplier verification is ongoing and is partially complete. Production has no compliance issues other than the planned pull in of material in the last month of 1999 to avoid any supply delays caused by outside Y2K issues. The customer/order processing process has been reviewed and depends only upon compliant systems. Regular auditing will be conducted according to the Y2K implementation plan to ensure no unforeseen issues arise. Banking/Accounting/Payroll suppliers have been verified as compliant or are in the process of achieving compliance and no issues are expected. Shipping suppliers have been verified as compliant. Verification of security systems compliance is awaiting a facility-specific response although the supplier has issued a general compliance statement.
